Salena grew up in Ottawa, Canada, and graduated from Harvard University in 2015 with a B.A. in Statistics and a minor in Global Health and Health Policy. She joined the Waikar Lab Group in 2015 as a Clinical Research Coordinator, interested in contributing to academic medicine and gaining experience working in a hospital. During her time at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, she has learned a great deal thanks to the patients she’s met and the doctors and nurses who care for them. She enjoys dancing, running, exploring Boston by bike, and spending time with her roommates.
